Investment Analyst
About the Role
The ideal candidate is passionate about identifying investment opportunities, conducting rigorous financial analysis, and supporting data-driven investment decisions. You will play a key role in evaluating potential investments, monitoring portfolio performance, and providing insights that align with the fund’s investment strategy and long-term objectives.
Responsibilities
- Conduct financial, market, and industry analysis to identify attractive investment opportunities.
- Perform due diligence on potential investments, including financial modeling, valuation, and risk assessment.
- Prepare investment memorandums, presentations, and reports for the investment committee.
- Monitor portfolio companies and analyze operational and financial performance.
- Research market trends, competitive landscapes, and macroeconomic developments.
- Support deal sourcing, transaction execution, and portfolio management activities.
- Collaborate with investment professionals, management teams, advisors, and external stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and valuation analyses.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, asset management, or corporate finance.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to analyze complex financial information and present clear investment recommendations.
- CFA designation (or progress toward CFA) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
