Automation Tester (Remote Opportunity)

For more information, visit us at www.vetsez.com. We are seeking an Automation Tester to be a part of a remote team. As a Automation Tester, you are experienced at discovering and identifying automation opportunities in process and technology. They should be able to collaborate with peers, contribute to a wide range of applications, and adapt their software to the system they are improving. The candidate must reside within the continental US Responsibilities:
- Provide input/document and update artifacts: Master Test Plan, Test impediments, analysis assessments, LOE, supporting documentation to Rally/JIRA X-Ray/GitHub
- Configure necessary hardware and operating environments as needed to complete assigned testing
- Work with developers, end-users, and organizations to create test plans and test scripts
- Work well with multiple deadlines and changing priorities during the development lifecycle
- Write and assist in the development of test plans and test procedures
- Manage the defect database under the guidance of senior QA engineers
- Create reports, tracking problems, and reports on errors that are identified
- Help assist remotely with site testing and UAT Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or other Engineering or technical discipline
- A minimum of 5 years of experience is required
- Experience working closely in developer huddles to analyze the scope and create test scripts, cases, and data for functionality planned within a build
- Knowledge of testing enhancements, conducting regression testing, and logging/resolving defects as they arise
- Excellent communication skills and experience working with key stakeholders
- Familiarity with Rally and JIRA Test Artifacts Repository Tools Additional Qualifications:
- Experience in the VA or other health-related organizations desired
- Ability to work effectively in a multi-stakeholder, Agile, and DevSecOps environment
