Position Overview Are you someone who enjoys finding great talent, building relationships, and helping people discover exciting opportunities? As a Contract Recruiter with Productive Playhouse, you'll play a key role in connecting talented individuals from around the world with meaningful project-based work. In this role, you'll partner closely with our Recruitment Team to source, identify, and engage qualified candidates across a variety of language and project-based positions. You'll help build strong talent pipelines, conduct initial candidate screenings, coordinate outreach efforts, and maintain accurate recruiting data to ensure a smooth and positive candidate experience. This position is ideal for someone who is proactive, resourceful, and energized by working in a fast-paced, global environment where priorities can shift quickly and no two days look exactly the same. While this role does not make final hiring decisions, it serves as a critical partner to the Recruitment Team and plays an important part in helping Productive Playhouse attract and engage top talent worldwide. This role is being hired on a contract basis; however, there may be an opportunity for conversion to a permanent position following a successful 90-day review period, subject to performance and business needs. Compensation: $22.50 USD per hour

Key Responsibilities

Identify candidates Using job boards, professional networks, and internal databases. Review incoming applications and screen for basic qualifications and project requirements. Conduct initial candidate outreach via email or messaging platforms to confirm interest and availability. Maintain accurate and organized candidate data in our applicant tracking system (ATS). Support the coordination of interviews and candidate communication. Collaborate with recruiters to understand project needs and hiring priorities. Assist with posting and refreshing job advertisements across multiple platforms. Provide regular status updates on candidate pipelines and sourcing progress. Qualifications & Skills 1+ year of experience in recruiting, sourcing, or a related administrative or HR function (internship or academic experience welcome). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a remote environment. Familiarity with job boards, sourcing tools, or applicant tracking systems preferred. Self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working independently. Tech-savvy and proficient with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail). Interest in global hiring, languages, or international projects is a plus. Work Environment & Physical Requirements This is a remote role requiring a quiet, professional environment suitable for confidential work and video calls. fAbility to engage in virtual meetings. Strong visual acuity for reviewing detailed documents and data on computer screens Manual dexterity for operating a computer, including using a keyboard and mouse Ability to lift and carry office supplies or equipment weighing up to 25 pounds Clear verbal and written communication skills for collaboration across teams Flexibility to adjust schedules based on project needs, with occasional requests for additional hours during temporary projects.
