Electrical Engineer 1
Westinghouse Electric Company is a leader in the nuclear energy industry, dedicated to providing clean energy solutions. The Electrical Engineer will perform engineering evaluations and analyses to support the operation of nuclear power plants, reporting to the Engineering Manager of Electrical Physical Design.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of engineering tasks in support to operation of nuclear power plants.- Shall be familiar with 3D/2D design tools
- Propose solutions to technical challenges that may arise during projects
- Participate to integrated and international project teams and communicate with involved parties
- Occasionally travel to customer sites or to Industry Group Workshops (to gather or present technical information)
- Prepare detailed documentation of analyses
Skills
- Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering (2023 - May 2026 Grads encouraged to apply)
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Familiar with 3D and 2D design tools
- Familiar with IEEE and IE codes
- Familiar with Nuclear Power Plants
