Job Summary
As a Part-Time Data Entry Assistant, you will play a critical role in collecting, analyzing, and entering data on faculty, students, and professionals in the careerzynith network and their research into our Academic Knowledgebase. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Academic Research, you will be responsible for managing data entry, exercising analytical and critical thinking skills to recognize patterns, and further developing your knowledge of the Academy.
Key Responsibilities
* Evaluating and collecting data on careerzynith network members to enhance institutional knowledge and reporting
- Parsing between relevant and irrelevant data to ensure high-quality data inputs
- Entering data on job affiliations and contact information into Google Sheets and careerzynith Salesforce database
- Collaborating with the Senior Manager of Academic Research to develop and implement data entry strategies
- Analyzing data to identify trends and patterns, and providing insights to inform careerzynith's research and knowledgebase development

Required Skills and Qualifications
* Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain focus on time-consuming tasks, meeting deadlines, and prioritizing simultaneous requests
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- A curious nature with a strong drive to learn and grow
- 1+ years of relevant work experience preferred
- Familiarity with the Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, etc.) a plus
- Familiarity with Salesforce (or related CRM software) a plus
- Knowledge and appreciation for classical liberal ideas preferred
- Basic knowledge of Academic Research a plus
Desirable Skills and Qualifications
* Experience working with data entry software and databases
- Familiarity with academic research methods and protocols
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Estimated Work Schedule
* 25 hours weekly
Compensation and Benefits
* Competitive hourly rate: $15.00 - $18.00 an hour, commensurate with experience
