Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team in a full-time, remote position. As a Pharmacy Technician at careerzynith, you will be responsible for directing complex prescriptions to the pharmacist for completion, communicating with physicians and insurance companies, mediating cases, and utilizing excellent data entry skills to drive success. You will work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking between patient referrals while maintaining exceptional customer care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Direct complex prescriptions to the pharmacist for completion
- Communicate with physicians and insurance companies to resolve issues and clarify information
- Mediate cases and provide excellent customer care to patients and healthcare providers
- Utilize excellent data entry skills to drive success and accuracy in patient records
- Work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking between patient referrals and maintaining exceptional customer care
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient operations
Essential Qualifications:
* 2+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Pharmacy Tech Certified in the state of GA
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification
- Data entry experience
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
* Specialty pharmacy experience
- Prescription claims experience to communicate with prescribers regarding case status and review prescription claim issues
Education:
* High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
Skills and Competencies:
* High levels of reliability, accuracy, professionalism, customer focus, team direction, critical thinking skills, strong written and oral communication, and solid computer skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask between patient referrals
