This is a remote position. Position Title Freelance Talent Acquisition Specialist – Philippines (Project-Based) Location Remote – Philippines (Preference for Cebu) Engagement Type Independent Contractor / Freelance About Business Financial Group (BFG) Business Financial Group (BFG) is a U.S.-based accounting, tax, advisory, and business services firm serving small business owners across the United States. Our team operates globally, with client relationship management in the U.S. and Costa Rica, delivery teams in India, and a growing international support organization. We are seeking a talented recruiter in the Philippines to help us build our client onboarding and client service team. Position Overview The Freelance Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and presenting highly qualified candidates for BFG's Philippines-based positions. This is a project-based role initially focused on recruiting our first Client Onboarding & Client Success Specialist. Successful performance may lead to additional recruiting projects and a long-term partnership.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Sourcing Source qualified candidates through: LinkedIn Jobstreet OnlineJobs.ph Facebook Groups Professional networks Local recruiting channels Build candidate pipelines for future hiring needs. Candidate Screening Conduct initial interviews. Evaluate: English communication skills Customer service mindset Professionalism Reliability Remote work readiness Assess cultural fit with BFG's client-focused environment. Candidate Presentation Present qualified candidates with: Resume Interview notes Salary expectations Availability Communication assessment Recruiter recommendation Recruitment Coordination Schedule interviews with BFG leadership. Coordinate follow-up communications. Assist with reference checking. Maintain candidate tracking records. Initial Project Deliverables ​ Position to Fill Client Onboarding & Client Success Specialist Expected Deliverables Minimum 15 qualified candidates Minimum 5 highly recommended finalists English communication assessment for each finalist Salary benchmark report Market feedback and hiring recommendations Timeline Target completion within 2–4 weeks. ​

Requirements

Qualifications Required 3+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience Experience recruiting remote employees Experience recruiting customer service or client-facing professionals Excellent English communication skills Strong interviewing skills Familiarity with online recruiting platforms Ability to work independently Preferred Located in Cebu Experience recruiting for: Customer Success Client Services Virtual Assistant Teams Administrative Support BPO Organizations Experience supporting U.S.-based companies Knowledge of CRM and remote work environments Ideal Candidate Profile We are seeking someone who can identify candidates with: Exceptional communication skills Strong customer service orientation Professional appearance and demeanor Organizational ability Reliability and accountability Long-term career potential The ideal recruiter understands that communication and client experience are more important than technical accounting knowledge for this particular hire.
