Freelance Video Editing Specialist
Job Description:
- Edit long form YouTube videos (primary focus)
- Assist and collaborate with short form video editing for Reels, Shorts, and TikTok as needed
- Collaborate with the creative team including video editors, graphic designers, and content coordinators on content ideas
- Research YouTube trends, competitors, and algorithm changes
- Monitor and analyze YouTube analytics to improve performance
- Organize and maintain content libraries in Google Drive and Google Photos
- Upload and manage long form YouTube content
- Help contribute ideas that improve content quality, engagement, and growth
Requirements:
- Familiarity with YouTube culture and trends
- Passion for content creation and continuous growth
- Proficiency in video editing platforms: Adobe, CapCut
- Basic knowledge of visual storytelling principles, color theory, typography, and composition
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks and meeting deadlines
- Communication with cross functional teams to take feedback and translate ideas into content
- Adaptability to learn new tools and creative trends
