Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Translator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong multilingual abilities, particularly in English and at least one other language. This role involves translating written documents, interpreting spoken communication, and ensuring the accuracy and clarity of translations. The Translator will play a crucial role in facilitating effective communication across diverse audiences.
Responsibilities
- Translate written materials from one English to Hassaniya and vice versa while maintaining the original meaning and context.
- Provide interpretation services during meetings, conferences, or events as needed.
- Proofread and edit translated documents to ensure high-quality output.
- Conduct transcription of audio or video content into written form in the target language.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure consistency in terminology and style across all translations.
- Utilize linguistic skills to enhance communication effectiveness and cultural relevance in translations.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information encountered during translation tasks.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Translator or in a similar linguistic role is preferred.
- Strong bilingual or multilingual skills with proficiency in English and at least one additional language.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a keen eye for detail.
- Familiarity with translation software and tools is a plus.
- Background in linguistics or related fields is advantageous.
