High School Math Teacher (Algebra 1 & Beyond) | Summer 2026, Remote
ob Description Wonder Spark Learning is seeking experienced and knowledgeable online high school math teachers to lead small-group classes for students studying Algebra, Geometry, Statistics, Calculus, and related high school math subjects during Summer 2026. We are a growing online education company focused on helping students develop strong mathematical reasoning, problem-solving skills, and academic confidence through clear, structured instruction. We are looking for teachers who can teach with clarity, depth, and precision across multiple high school math subjects , and who are comfortable guiding students through both foundational and advanced concepts.
Responsibilities
Teach live, online math classes to small groups of students (typically 2-8 learners) Plan and deliver structured lessons aligned with high school math standards Teach and explain a range of topics, including: Algebra (Algebra 1 & 2) Geometry Statistics Pre-Calculus and Calculus Support students in developing strong problem-solving strategies and mathematical reasoning Adapt instruction to meet varying student levels and learning needs Maintain a focused, academically rigorous classroom environment Class Details Schedule: Summer 2026 (June-August) Class Length: 45-60 minutes per session Format: Live, online instruction (Zoom or similar platform) Class Size: Small groups Qualifications Experience teaching or tutoring high school math across multiple subject areas Strong content knowledge in Algebra, Geometry, Statistics, and Calculus Ability to clearly explain complex concepts and adjust instruction for different learners Experience teaching in an online or virtual setting preferred Reliable, organized, and professional Bachelor's degree required (Math or related field strongly preferred) Compensation $22-$30 per hour (based on experience and class size) Opportunities for additional teaching hours and continued roles beyond summer About Wonder Spark Learning Wonder Spark Learning is an online education company offering small-group classes in math, language, and enrichment for students.
