Responsibilities:

As a Remote Data Entry Pharmacy Technician at careerzynith, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Filling prescription items, packaging medications for dispensing and delivery, meeting accuracy and productivity standards
  • Providing high-level customer service by answering pharmacy phones and responding promptly to requests from colleagues, patients, nurses, physicians, and hospice personnel
  • Contributing to the efficient workflow of the pharmacy by maintaining a high productivity level and error-free work product
  • Maintaining the orderliness of the pharmacy by keeping countertops and drug bay shelves tidy and organized
  • Entering, accessing, and verifying the accuracy of data in the pharmacy system
  • Labeling products appropriately, including cautionary or auxiliary labels
  • Participating in the periodic inventory of the pharmacy
  • Checking in drugs and supplies, stocking shelves, and removing out-of-date items from the inventory
  • Communicating with internal and external customers in a pleasant and professional manner
  • Assisting in the training of new employees
  • Performing other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work a flexible work schedule
  • Ability to operate a computer and recognize and identify medications
  • Detail-oriented and goal-oriented with excellent oral communication skills
  • Pharmacy Technician license in good standing with the State Board (Certification is preferable)
