Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate and personalized home care to clients based on their care plan.
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes to the supervising nurse.
- Foster an atmosphere that assists clients with a feeling of purpose, dignity, and joy.
- Engage in meaningful conversations and foster emotional connections with clients.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment.
- Prepare nutritious meals that follow the care-plan and client requests.
- Ensure medication management and reminders when required.
- Organize and provide transportation to doctor's appointments, outings, and errands.
- Build trust with clients and their families.
- Demonstrate empathy and integrity in every interaction.
Requirements
- Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant, license must be in good standing, must be current, not lapsed.
- Driver's license.
- Reliable insured vehicle (must have a vehicle).
- Ability to speak the English language very clearly and comprehend the English language.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the home live-in setting.
- Pass a background check.
- Provide 3 references pertaining to the job applying to.
- Physically fit, with a full day schedule, on feet 10-13 hours per day.
- Reside in a state that they are able to bring their vehicle to the case.
