Part-Time Remote Bookkeeper (Legal Experience Required)
Overview
Solo attorney seeking a highly skilled bookkeeper for approximately 8 hours per month. This is a fully remote position with flexible scheduling. Work will have to be exchanged quarterly. Ideal candidate is experienced, efficient, and comfortable working independently with minimal oversight. Duties
- Manage and record all financial transactions using QuickBooks
- Perform detailed bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations
- Prepare and process journal entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable to maintain up-to-date financial records
- Assist with payroll processing, tax filings, using QuickBooks Payroll Services
- Handle billing and time tracking within QuickBooks
- Manage Trust Accounts in compliance with legal standards using on-line software
Requirements
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, including time and billing
- Thorough knowledge of legal trust accounting
- Prior bookkeeping experience with law firms (required)
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour Experience
- Legal Bookkeeping: 10 years (Required)
