What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Obtain patient demographics, insurance information, and source of referral to register new patients in the system
- Handle all scheduling requests in accordance with physician and authorization protocols
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures set forth by the employer
- Confirm and update patient information from prior visits as needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare environment
- Experience in registration, scheduling, and healthcare benefits is helpful
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Must be detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and handle high call volumes
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience in a call center environment
- Familiarity with Windows-based computer systems and typing skills
