PHP Developer- MediaWiki Modifications (Remote)
Help us fix a broken political system. Looking for a skilled web developer to modify MediaWiki software to allow for the creation of a debate archive. Users of the product will collaboratively create and edit summaries of talking points for various topics (current events and oft-repeated discussions), with editing permissions restricted so that each editor must choose a side, and are then allowed to only edit that side of the debate. Successful completion of this part of the project could eventually lead to a full time position, once we have a more robust fundraising operation. The mission of our organization is nothing less than a complete overhaul of the means of political communication, with tools designed specifically to make the conversations more constructive.
