Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Crossing Hurdles is seeking a Finance Expert for a contract position. The role involves reviewing financial data, performing variance analysis, and supporting financial reporting processes to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Responsibilities
- Review and validate financial data, invoices, and ledgers for accuracy and completeness
- Perform variance analysis and reconcile accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies
- Evaluate exported data from ERP systems and provide clear, actionable feedback on findings
- Support and document financial reporting processes, including AP/AR workflows and month-end close activities
- Analyze real and synthetic finance tasks, mapping evidence to expected outputs with high attention to detail
- Communicate complex findings and insights in writing, demonstrating clarity and precision
Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets for financial data analysis and reporting
- Experience in accounting operations, AP/AR, financial reporting, reconciliation, or FP&A
- Proficient in reviewing and interpreting ERP reports, ledgers, and supporting documentation
- Strong analytical judgment and ability to identify and explain financial discrepancies
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with a focus on clarity
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field with at least of relevant experience
