Position: Staff Accountant/Bookkeeper - Remote - Phoenix, AZ, USA We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Staff Accountant to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities
Oversee and update financial records utilizing QuickBooks software, guaranteeing accuracy and thoroughness. Process various financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll activities. Conduct reconciliations for bank accounts, credit card statements, and additional financial documents. Generate and maintain critical financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Ensure adherence to financial regulations and standards. Execute daily bookkeeping tasks such as data entry, filing, and document organization. Collaborate with fellow team members to address discrepancies or challenges within financial records. Remain informed on industry developments and advancements in bookkeeping and QuickBooks. Required Skills Demonstrated experience in bookkeeping or a comparable position. Expertise in QuickBooks, including managing the Chart of Accounts, creating journal entries, and producing financial reports. Comprehensive understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial documentation. Strong grasp of accounting principles and financial statement analysis. Outstanding problem-solving and analytical capabilities. Effective communication and teamwork skills, with an aptitude for cross-functional collaboration.
