[Remote] Business Systems Analysis, Associate
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Peraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence. They are seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join their Agile team, responsible for developing enhancements to the Medicare Part B claims processing system and providing application development and maintenance support.
Responsibilities
- Research to understand proposed system changes
- Analyze business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business information processes
- Create detailed specifications/requirements for program changes
- Create and update system documentation and user specifications
- Work with scrum team members to build and demo requirements into program changes
- Create and execute detailed Testing Plans
- Provide expertise in the formulation of systems scope and objectives relative to the business plan and industry requirements
- Determine operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats
- As a member of a project/Agile team, provide guidance related to the business implications of the changes and the impacts to other CMS systems
Skills
- Bachelors degree and 0-2 years experience or High School diploma/equivalent and 4 years of relevant experience
- Strong desire to learn and grow
- Strong ability to work independently and manage one's time
- Experience in the organizing projects using Agile Methodology or other methods
- Experience utilizing AI tools
- Demonstrated ability plan projects, for example, to create requirement documents and test plans
- Proficient at MSOffice (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to learn mainframe applications such as TSO/ISPF
- Strong written and verbal communication at a level appropriate for customer and internal communication
- US Citizenship
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
- Experience working in a healthcare environment and claims coding experience, or in a financial environment
