[Remote] Data Scientist
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. KNOWFINITY is hiring a Data Scientist for a prestigious Fortune 500 Product-Based client in the United States. This role involves working on large-scale data platforms and advanced machine learning solutions to derive actionable business insights from complex datasets.
Responsibilities
- Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities
- Develop, validate, and deploy machine learning and predictive analytics models
- Design and implement statistical models to solve real-world business problems
- Collaborate with software engineers, data engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to build data-driven solutions
- Build dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate insights effectively
- Perform feature engineering, model evaluation, and optimization for production-grade models
- Develop forecasting, recommendation, classification, and clustering models
- Support experimentation, A/B testing, and performance measurement initiatives
Skills
- 2+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, Analytics, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
- Experience with machine learning frameworks such as Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or XGBoost
- Strong understanding of statistics, probability, and predictive modeling techniques
- Experience working with structured and unstructured datasets
- Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience working in a product-based company
- Exposure to Generative AI, NLP, and Large Language Models (LLMs)
- Experience with Spark, Databricks, and big data technologies
- Familiarity with MLOps tools and model deployment practices
- Experience with A/B testing and experimentation frameworks
- Knowledge of recommendation systems and customer analytics
