[Remote] DevOps Architect

They are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performing DevOps ecosystems for clients and internal platforms.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end DevOps architecture and strategy
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for faster and reliable deployments
- Lead cloud infrastructure design (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Define Infrastructure as Code (IaC) standards using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
- Ensure system scalability, security, and high availability
- Drive containerization and orchestration strategies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Collaborate with development, QA, and security teams to streamline workflows
- Establish monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks
- Mentor DevOps engineers and promote best practices
- Evaluate and implement new tools and technologies
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related roles
- 3+ years in an architectural or leadership capacity
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Expertise in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, or similar)
- Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation)
- Strong understanding of networking, security, and system design
- Cloud certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Architect, etc.)
- Experience with microservices and distributed systems
- Knowledge of DevSecOps practices
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience in consulting or client-facing roles
