[Remote] Director of Operations

The Director of Operations will oversee and optimize day-to-day operations, manage workflows, and ensure operational efficiency to support SDG-focused finance initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing and optimizing day-to-day operations across the organization
- Coordinate project delivery
- Manage workflows and processes
- Ensure operational efficiency in support of SDG-focused finance initiatives
- Oversee budgeting and resource allocation
- Track key performance indicators
- Implement tools and systems to support consulting engagements
- Collaborate closely with leadership and subject-matter experts in Copenhagen and New York
- Align operational plans with strategic objectives
- Manage internal communication
- Support client relationship processes
- Contribute to continuous improvement across services and internal operations
Skills
- Strong Operations Management skills, including process optimization, project coordination, and implementation of scalable systems
- Demonstrated Analytical Skills for interpreting data, tracking KPIs, and supporting evidence-based decision-making
- Proven Team Management experience, including remote team coordination, performance management, and cross-functional collaboration
- Budgeting capabilities, including financial planning, cost control, and resource allocation to support organizational goals
- Customer Service orientation, with the ability to support investor and client needs, ensure high-quality delivery, and maintain long-term relationships
- Experience in consulting, impact investing, sustainable finance, or ESG-focused roles is highly beneficial
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional language skills are a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Public Policy, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
- Comfort working in a fully remote, international environment, with strong organizational and self-management skills
