[Remote] Financial Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Certara is a company that accelerates medicines using proprietary biosimulation software and services. They are seeking a Finance Manager who will support commercial performance and financial planning, providing analytical insights that influence revenue growth and strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Provide analytical insights on key GTM KPIs and triangulate revenue, ARR, and bookings performance
- Coordinate software revenue and bookings forecast with BU stakeholders
- Prepare and own the existing ARR model
- Provide monthly executive ARR reporting while enhancing existing visualizations
- Manage the Commercial and Marketing forecasting process including variance analysis
- Participate in the annual planning process, contributing financial models and ARR/Booking forecasts that support long‑term strategic objectives
- Support the sales quota‑setting process
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to improve financial processes, enhance reporting tools, and strengthen data‑driven decision‑making across the organization
- Provide high‑quality financial support to senior leaders, maintaining strong relationships with Finance, Business Unit, and Commercial leadership teams
- Build ad-hoc financial frameworks to assist with strategic decision making within the commercial organization
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 5-7 years of professional relevant experience in accounting, corporate finance, or strategic finance business partnership
- High proficiency in excel/PowerPoint and other MS products
- Experience with Netsuite and Salesforce a plus
