[Remote] Fund Accountant
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Pathway Capital Management is a leading provider of private market portfolio solutions, managing over $95 billion in assets. They are currently seeking a Fund Accountant to handle accounting and reporting for assigned funds, including preparing financial statements and analyzing investment partnership accounts.
Responsibilities
- Recording all accounting entries and reconciling to the investment database
- Preparing quarterly financial statements
- Preparing monthly roll-forward values and other specialized reports
- Preparing work-paper support for the year-end audits of funds of funds
- Review and interpret quarterly financial statements of investment partnerships
- Analyze activity in investment partnership accounts
- Identify and analyze activity for capital accounts related to alternative investment vehicles used by investment partnerships
- Record capital account information in the investment database
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- At least two years of professional accounting experience
- Knowledge of accounting, GAAP, and financial reporting concepts
- Ability to work overtime during the quarterly peak cycle
