[Remote] Global Account Manager II
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. BCD Travel is a leading travel management company with a dedicated Media & Entertainment division. The Global Account Manager II will manage a unique client portfolio, focusing on client retention, contract negotiation, and delivering high-touch consultancy and strategy to clients.
Responsibilities
- Be responsible for the coordination of all central communication across regions for both BCD Travel and the client's global initiatives or interests
- Formulate and manage multi-national business plans with the client with the goal of increasing revenues, decreasing cost, better utilizing assets, and reducing risk of client attrition
- Develop Service Level Agreement for Service, Financial, MIS/CDS, Program Performance, Technology, and Communication indicators
- Create and manage to budgets and financials (includes billing, payment & profitability)
- Establish and maintain relationships with key customer decision makers at all levels within the customer organization, including introduction of BCD Travel senior management to customer
- Negotiate client contract terms and manage to all contractual terms
- Identify opportunities to use global technology tools and new processes
Skills
- Extensive travel industry experience in account management
- Experience implementing and managing large market/ global clients
- Thorough knowledge of business travel management and travel industry technology
- Effective communication skills (oral, written & presentation) in English
- Experience managing cross functional work teams
- Ability to travel domestically & internationally on regular basis
