[Remote] Interim Audit & Financial Reporting Consultant (Remote)

Vaco by Highspring is seeking an experienced Interim Audit & Financial Reporting Consultant to support audit coordination and financial reporting during a critical reporting period. The role involves coordinating audit requests, supporting month-end close activities, and assisting with various accounting projects.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate audit requests and serve as a liaison with external auditors
- Support month-end close and financial reporting activities
- Prepare variance analyses, reconciliations, and reporting packages
- Assist with lender, regulatory, and management reporting
- Research and resolve accounting and reporting issues
- Partner with Accounting and Finance teams on special projects and process improvements
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of accounting, audit, or financial reporting experience
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP
- Experience working with external audits and financial reporting
- Advanced Excel skills and ERP system experience
- CPA and/or public accounting experience
- Financial Services, Fintech, SaaS, Technology, or other multi-entity environments
