They are seeking a K-5 Science Curriculum Writer to write and adapt standards-aligned Science curriculum, create engaging lesson plans, and collaborate with subject matter experts to enhance scientific literacy among students.
Responsibilities
- Write and adapt Science curriculum and instructional materials (units, lesson plans, assessments, student materials)
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, editors, and instructional designers
- Incorporate evidence-based best practices in Science instruction
- Revise materials based on client feedback
- Support development of professional learning materials for teachers
- Apply knowledge of current trends in Science education
- Integrate innovative strategies and tools to enhance learner engagement
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in science, education, or related field
- Excellent writing skills required
