[Remote] Lead Software Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Refactor Talent is seeking a Lead Software Engineer for a leading company in the life insurance and financial services industry. In this role, you will design and develop applications that connect legacy enterprise platforms with modern cloud-based solutions and lead technical design efforts throughout the software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop applications that connect legacy enterprise platforms with modern cloud-based solutions
- Build and maintain integrations between internal systems, third-party vendors, and business applications
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technology solutions
- Lead technical design efforts and drive projects through the full software development lifecycle
- Develop modern web-based applications and workflow solutions that improve business operations
- Ensure software solutions meet security, compliance, and data governance requirements
Skills
- Minimum of 8 years of software engineering experience
- Strong experience with REST APIs, SOAP services, SQL, and enterprise integrations
- Experience working with AWS and/or other cloud platforms
- Proven ability to design scalable application architectures
- Experience working within Agile development environments
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
