[Remote] Project Manager, External Engagement

Note The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Penn State University is currently seeking a Project Manager in supporting Annual Giving, a key fundraising office for development. This role involves leading project management efforts, developing timelines for fundraising campaigns, and ensuring effective communication with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead the project management efforts for the Office of Annual Giving Develop timelines for Annual Giving fundraising campaigns and ensure timely completion of projects Work in concert with the External Engagement project management staff Act as a liaison with Development Communications Articulate Penn State’s needs, ambitions, and values through excellent informal and formal communications Skills Bachelor's Degree 1+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience accepted Experience planning projects and utilizing project management software such as Workfront Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills The ability to create and maintain an inclusive and respectful environment for all students and colleagues Excellent relationship building skills A proven ability to self-motivate and work both independently and as part of a team A commitment to professional development, learning, and being mentored Experience in annual giving, advancement, or nonprofit fundraising Familiarity with higher education fundraising structures and centralized/decentralized fundraising models Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing campaign calendars Knowledge of donor communications and multi-channel solicitation strategy Benefits Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage Robust retirement plans Substantial paid time off which includes holidays, vacation and sick time Generous 75% tuition discount, available to employees as well as eligible spouses and children Company Overview There’s a reason Penn State consistently ranks among the top one percent of the world’s universities.
