[Remote] Senior Director, Business Development

Banook is a specialized CRO operating at the intersection of cardiac safety, medical imaging, and eClinical solutions, and they are seeking a high-impact Senior Director, Business Development to accelerate growth across North America. The role involves defining and executing the annual business development plan, identifying new opportunities, and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers in the pharma and biotech sectors.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the annual BD plan aligned with Banook's growth targets
- Identify and develop new opportunities within pharma, biotech, and medical device sectors
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers
- Lead bid defense meetings, proposal presentations, and contract negotiations
- Maintain accurate pipeline reporting and provide regular forecasting to senior leadership
- Represent Banook at industry conferences and trade shows across North America
Skills
- 10–15+ years in life sciences BD (pharma, biotech, or medical devices)
- Proven track record selling clinical trial services across phases and therapeutic areas
- Established network with Big Pharma and Biotech stakeholders in clinical research
- Strong North American market knowledge; willingness to travel
- Bachelor's in Life Sciences or Business — MBA a plus, but experience speaks louder
- French language skills are a bonus
