Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer specializing in Power Systems to join their innovative, fully remote engineering team. You will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of complex electrical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications. The role requires a deep understanding of power electronics, renewable energy integration, grid stability, and control systems. You will lead design efforts, perform detailed analysis, conduct simulations, and provide technical guidance to junior engineers. Key responsibilities include conceptualizing new power system designs, selecting appropriate components and equipment, developing schematics and layouts, troubleshooting system issues, and preparing technical documentation and reports. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, project managers, and clients, will be essential. The ideal candidate has a strong academic background in Electrical Engineering, coupled with substantial professional experience in power systems engineering. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Power Systems is required. Professional Engineer (PE) license is a significant plus.
