The role involves supervising a team of Financial Analysts, partnering with senior leadership on strategic planning, and conducting detailed financial analyses to support business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor a team of Financial Analysts, managing workload allocation, professional development, and quality of output
- Partner with senior leadership on strategic planning, budgeting, and management reporting
- Lead and conduct detailed financial and statistical analyses to support business decision-making
- Oversee preparation of monthly financial reports and financial statement analysis
- Serve as the bridge between the analytical team and management, ensuring all deliverables meet content and presentation standards
- Structure team workflows to challenge analysts and foster open communication around professional growth
Skills
- 5+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis
- Background in hospitality, banking, or financial services is required
- Demonstrated experience leading or supervising a team
- Advanced Excel proficiency; experience with SQL, Business Intelligence tools, or related reporting platforms required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics, or Mathematics
- Exposure to Anaplan or similar planning platforms
