[Remote] Senior Instructional Designer

HireTalent is a staffing and recruiting firm seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to create engaging and effective learning solutions. The role involves analyzing content, designing training programs, and developing e-learning and virtual instructor-led materials using industry-standard tools and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Apply the ADDIE instructional design model to develop training solutions
• Analyze source content to determine learning needs and objectives
• Design and develop e-learning courses and virtual instructor-led training materials
• Create storyboards, job aids, and supporting learning content
• Follow established templates, guidelines, and standards for course development
• Collaborate with team members using communication and project tools
• Adhere to project timelines and report progress regularly
• Escalate risks or issues as needed to ensure project success
• Work independently with minimal supervision while following directions as required

Skills

• 5+ years of experience in instructional design, training, or learning development
• Strong experience with instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE)
• Proficiency in: Articulate 360 (Storyline and Rise)
• Proficiency in: Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
• Proficiency in: Camtasia
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Bachelor's degree in Learning & Performance, Education, Human Resources, Organizational Design, or a related field
• Experience working in a consumer-focused organization
• Experience in healthcare and/or insurance industries
