[Remote] Vice President Finance
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Sonsio Vehicle Protection is seeking a Vice President of Finance who will serve as a strategic and operational finance leader. This role involves overseeing the Finance and Accounting function and partnering with executive leadership to drive profitable growth and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a key member of the senior leadership team, providing financial leadership and insight to drive business strategy and execution
- Partner with the President and executive team on strategic planning, growth initiatives, and operational improvement efforts
- Translate strategy into actionable financial plans, metrics, and accountabilities
- Develop and institutionalize KPIs and business metrics that provide forward-looking insights
- Lead monthly and quarterly business reviews, identifying opportunities, risks, and corrective actions
- Lead business-unit budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes
- Provide executive oversight of accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls through direct leadership of the Controller
- Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
- Promote strong governance, compliance, and ethical standards across the Finance organization
- Partner closely with the DTFOC Chief Accounting Officer and Corporate Controller to ensure accounting processes are developed and managed in accordance with the expectations of the DTFOC
- Lead, develop, and inspire a multi-disciplinary finance organization, including FP&A and Accounting
- Build a culture emphasizing accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required
- 15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience with increasing responsibility
- Demonstrated success partnering with executive leadership to drive strategy and results
- Strong strategic and analytical leadership capabilities
- Proven ability to operate effectively at both strategic and hands-on levels
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- High ethical standards, sound judgment, and a results-oriented mindset
