SAP Business Analyst & SME, Remote (Europe), European Institution Job role: Senior Business Analyst. Minimum experience: Over 10 years. Studies required: Graduate. Language: English (C1) (Mandatory). Location: Remote (Europe). DESCRIPTION: Senior expert in SAP FS‑RI (Base and Risk Manager Non‑Life) with deep knowledge of closing processes and reinsurance data models. The role involves leading change initiatives, analyzing business requirements, performing data analysis, and designing effective SAP FS‑RI solutions. The consultant will coordinate closely with business stakeholders and onshore development teams, while organizing and supporting testing, training and documentation activities. Requires over 10 years of experience as a reinsurance Business Analyst and SAP FS‑RI SME, strong client focus, and the ability to work independently. Additional SAP and cloud skills are considered strong advantages. Tasks: ∙ Change initiatives — Lead and execute change initiatives and enhancement projects within SAP FS‑RI. ∙ Requirements analysis — Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications. ∙ Data analysis — Perform detailed data analysis related to reinsurance processes and FS‑RI data models. ∙ Solution design — Design effective SAP FS‑RI solutions aligned with business needs. ∙ Stakeholder coordination — Coordinate closely with business stakeholders and onshore development teams. ∙ Testing support — Organize, execute and support testing activities (UAT, integration, regression). ∙ Training activities — Support and deliver training sessions for business users. ∙ Documentation — Prepare and maintain clear, structured functional and technical documentation. ∙ Independent work — Operate autonomously with minimal guidance while ensuring high‑quality deliverables. Technical skills: ∙ SAP FS‑RI — Senior expertise in SAP FS‑RI (Base and Risk Manager Non‑Life). ∙ Reinsurance processes — 10+ years as a reinsurance Business Analyst and SAP FS‑RI SME. ∙ Closing processes — Strong knowledge of reinsurance closing processes and data models. ∙ End‑to‑end implementations — Experience in at least one full end‑to‑end SAP FS‑RI implementation. ∙ Client focus — Strong client‑facing and collaboration skills. ∙ SAP BW — Additional experience in SAP BW is a strong advantage. ∙ FS‑CD — Knowledge of SAP FS‑CD is highly valued. ∙ ABAP — Ability to understand or work with ABAP developments. ∙ SAP FI + ALE — Experience with SAP FI and ALE interfaces is a plus. ∙ Azure — Cloud knowledge (Azure) considered an advantage. ∙ Languages — Portuguese, German or Italian are strong pluses.
