SAP developer in SAP commerce field
We are looking for an experienced SAP Commerce Developer with strong expertise in Java EE, Spring Framework, and SAP Commerce Cloud. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in building and extending enterprise-grade e-commerce solutions, working with OCC APIs, Backoffice, and SmartEdit, and a solid understanding of scalable architecture, databases, caching, and cloud deployments. Job Requirements 5+ years of experience with Java EE and Spring Framework 3+ years (ideally 5–10 years) of hands-on experience with SAP Commerce (Cloud V2) Strong expertise in databases and caching mechanisms Proven experience with: Setting up, configuring, and extending SAP Commerce modules In-depth understanding of the Commerce and Product Content Model (Catalogs, CMS, Promotions, Pricing, Cart, Checkout, etc.) Working with Backoffice, SmartEdit, and OCC APIs (REST) Knowledge of build and deployment processes using tools like Gradle, Ant, Maven Familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) Experience with cloud deployments (e.g., SAP Cloud, Azure, AWS) Solid understanding of web technologies: REST APIs, JSON, OAuth2, JavaScript, CSS Experience with databases and persistence: FlexibleSearch (Hybris Query Language) SQL (SAP HANA) Deep understanding of caching strategies, clustering, and performance tuning

Qualifications Experience with modular software architecture, microservices, and headless commerce Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable, maintainable solutions Background in integrating with ERP, CRM, PIM, OMS, payment systems, etc. Familiarity with common design patterns (e.g., Factory, Strategy, Dependency Injection) German language skill is a plus
