Tax Manager - FULLY REMOTE
Position Overview We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Tax Manager to oversee our tax compliance and planning efforts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of tax reporting and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. This role is integral in providing strategic tax advice and supporting our clients with various taxation issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the preparation and filing of corporate, trust, estate, and individual tax returns.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and laws.
- Conduct tax research and analysis to minimize tax liabilities and ensure compliance.
- Review tax provisions and ensure accurate and timely reporting of tax obligations.
- Provide guidance and support in tax planning and compliance strategies for clients.
- Coordinate with external auditors regarding tax-related inquiries and documentation.
- Develop and implement tax policies and procedures to improve efficiency and compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification is a huge plus, but not required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting or public accounting.
- Strong knowledge of tax compliance and regulations for corporations, trusts, estates, and individuals.
- Experience in tax research and providing tax advisory services.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
